About this artwork
With this work, I wanted to capture the nobility and strength of the equine spirit. I used acrylics to give texture and depth to its coat and harness, blending realism with semi-abstract touches to evoke an aura of majesty. I imagine its energy will bring elegance and serenity, filling any space with life and vibrant presence.
Alex Bermudez is an artist who uses coffee ink and vibrant acrylics, merging his training in graphic design, art direction, and culinary arts. His techniques range from coffee stains and cracks as a symbol of diaspora and resistance to colorful compositions that celebrate coexistence and diversity without hierarchy. His works convey a profound sense of beauty in imperfection, inviting us to connect with nature, diversity, the spiritual, and the joy of an imperfect and sacred existence.
