The Serpent Queen is all about presence. The crown, the pose, the setting—they’re theatrical, but the feeling is grounded. She’s not playing a role. She’s owning it. That tension between elegance and control is what drew me to this shot.
The location—faded grandeur, worn walls, vaulted light—matched the energy I was after. A bit mysterious, a bit defiant. There’s a story here, but I’m not handing it to you. You can stand in front of it and feel… it, or not.
On a wall, this piece brings drama and structure. It works well in bold interiors—think tall ceilings, aged textures, neutral palettes with contrast. It doesn’t blend in, and it’s not supposed to.
