About this artwork
You're suddenly waiting for an answer on whether we'll do renovations in our house. The painting is abstract and represents an evening conversation at sunset with a person. The moment captured is when I suddenly realized that I had drifted off into my own thoughts and had not been listening to my conversation partner for some time. In this moment, my cognitive processes were disrupted, and I saw a bright abstract image in place of my partner. The… essence of the painting is the sudden moment of understanding and focus, when the image is not yet fully realized by the viewer.
« My painting is directly related to my personal growth as a person and reflects my views on the world. »
Alexander Klemens is an experienced artist based in Czechia whose paintings have been exhibited in Russia. Through his works, he delves into the unknown, exploring themes relating to mysticism, esotericism, religion, and "everything related to understanding the structure of the world". Klemens's distinctive pieces convey both "vision and sensation". He most often creates with oils on canvas.
