About this artwork
According to the author, the entire history of mankind is the history of wars. Perhaps the only god that humanity has consistently worshiped throughout its history and regularly makes sacrifices is the god of war. The series of paintings “God of War”, started in 2003, takes on a special meaning these days. The artist fills archaic medieval forms with a contemporary sound, depicting military aviation in the images of gods, angels, dragons, unicorns…
and other medieval mythological creatures. It is no coincidence that the stylistic design of this project is drawn to the Middle Ages, since the artist believes that humanity is still living in the Middle Ages.
