Eddi, a plush toy in pink, is a mascot trimmed with textile elements reminiscent of vagine. Eddi was made especially for the exhibition of Bad Art in 2018 in London. Eddi, as a mascot, took part in Alexander Fly's walking performances in Miami Beach in 2019.
Alexandra Holownia is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in performance, costume sculpture, and video art, graduating from prestigious academies in Poznań, Warsaw, and Berlin. She uses found objects and textiles, combined with Dada and conceptual techniques, to create provocative public actions. Her subversive, feminist works demand respect for women's rights and gender tolerance, partly through her striking costumed figure, Alexandra Fly. Authentic and passionate, she imbues her works with a haunting emotional depth that provokes reflection and challenges the viewer.
