About this artwork
Gaza Now is my heart’s response to the war. Instead of painting scenes, I use thick, jagged paint to show the feeling of falling debris and rising smoke. The swirls of red, green, and black are my way of showing that our identity stays strong, even when everything feels broken. This painting is my way of turning a heavy silence into a loud, visual cry.
