About this artwork
This work combines painting and three-dimensional structure into an elegant, almost sculptural composition. A curved tree rises from the lower part of the picture plane, unfolding its far-reaching crown in a flowing movement across the canvas. The trunk was modeled with texture paste and refined with acrylic paints and subtle metallic nuances, creating a vibrant, organic surface.
The treetop consists of decorative mineral granules built up in several… layers. In combination with epoxy resin, this creates a subtle sheen that catches the light and gives the surface depth.
The color palette of warm gold, champagne, and burgundy tones underscores the luxurious character of the artwork. Its structure and light-reflecting materials cause the effect to change depending on the lighting, making the picture a vibrant element in the room.
