Fabrics dancing in the wind, like veils or the robes of ancient goddesses, intersecting life paths, consciously, energetically, full of their own weight. Time folds, not linearly, but in layers and loops. The gold now stands not only for inner riches, but also for self-assertion, dignity, and maturity. The lengths of fabric take their place—they spread out, they are allowed to be seen. They are no longer random, but make a statement, stand by their…
form. The interplay of light on the folds intensifies the three-dimensionality, so that the work appears almost sculptural. One could see in it an emancipation of the soul—the celebration of a self that no longer bends, but unfolds in its full beauty.
