About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the complexity of the body as a collection of separate yet connected forms and emotions. I used acrylic to create vibrant contrasts and lines that suggest movement and internal tension. My intention is for the viewer to feel the energy and duality of the being, like a puzzle of sensations that invites reflection and intense experience of the moment.

Ana Bravo, known as Abrama, is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist with a solid institutional background who explores oil and acrylic painting, printmaking, drawing, recycled paper sculpture, recovered objects, and digital languages linked to artificial intelligence. Her work fuses documentary realism, narrative symbolism, and lyrical abstraction with mixed media, experimental material, and scientific, literary, and ancestral references. Her pieces convey profound historical reflection, social sensitivity, and an invitation to empathy, celebrating knowledge, collective memory, and hope in human transformation.
