About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the anguish and fear of the pandemic with a blend of realism and impressionism. Oil paint allowed me to express the rawness of the face and the emotional intensity, while the red background symbolizes the latent danger. This painting conveys a haunting energy that invites us to reflect on human fragility in dark times.
