About this artwork
Working with chickens new ideas just come to me. It seems that chickens are a well of inspiration. So I had a vision of a lot of little chickens on a canvas in various styles, poses and colours. I started making chicken sketches of many breeds and poses. When I was finished I had 39 of them and so 39 chickens were made in my style with paper mache technique that makes them 3D.
Combining the charm of chickens with a healthy dose of humour, these… pieces are sure to bring a smile to your face. Each artwork in the series features quirky chicken characters crafted with care and attention to detail. With these paintings, I capture the essence of joy and spontaneity.
