About this artwork

I spent a few hours looking at Monet's paintings. The water lilies in the Orangery? They totally blew me away. I was there in the fall of 2020 during the pandemic time. There were no tourists at all, so I had a unique opportunity to spend 22 minutes alone with the master's paintings.
Close to my house, at noon the sun reflects on the water and the stones on the bottom. Can you see the same theme but in a different way? This is my own take on what… I saw in Monet's work, but filtered through my own experience and style. A bit wilder, more expressive, but still full of the same light and color.
