About this artwork
I cherish my walks along the river, especially in winter scenery. This watercolor was born during one of my walks, when a misty morning embraced the riverside shrubs. Winter branches reflecting in the calm surface of the water, broken by warm browns of the shore, create a nostalgic mood characteristic of this season. The watercolor technique allowed me to capture the transience of the moment - the interplay of sky blues with cold water tones and…
