About this artwork
Marshmallows over Braunfels
Germany: half-timbered beauties around Frankfurt.
Like many other neighbors in the area, it formed around the castle, mentioned in the documentation for the XIII century.
Braunfels received the right to call itself a city only in the 17th century, rather late when compared with the numerous settlements in the Middle Rhine valley.
In a sense, he was led not to fall under the wheel of an inevitable process that grinds beauty… in the thirst for profit, and replaces it with boring skyscrapers and smoking chimneys.
Due to the war in Ukraine, carrier companies have introduced restrictions on the size of paintings that can be sent stretched on a stretcher. Therefore, large formats will be sent off the stretcher in the tube. In a tube without a stretcher, only canvas. The buyer should purchase the stretcher himself at the nearest framing workshop and there they will be able to professionally stretch the canvas on the stretcher.
Anastasia Kraineva is a passionate Ukrainian painter whose works have featured in exhibitions and public collections nationally. Refusing to limit herself to one single creative direction, she seeks to engage the viewer in explorations of a range of themes, styles and techniques. Kraineva views each viewer as a co-creator of her works, as much a part of the stories, emotions, fantasies and complexities of every painting as she is. Her figurative representations of people, along with her landscape pieces, showcase a distinctive softness and technical polish.
