About this artwork
As an artist, I’m constantly drawn to contrasts — between light and dark, chaos and calm, motion and stillness. Between the Storms was created during a time when I felt both emotionally charged and deeply centered. It’s about the space where tension and tranquility meet.
The bold dark strokes and soft blue tones layered over light neutrals create a sense of abstract flow — like a storm that’s just passed, or one that’s quietly brewing. I used acrylic… paints with expressive, gestural techniques to capture raw energy while maintaining visual balance.
