About this artwork
A series of abstract works constructed on layered black backgrounds and material signs that overlap and interrupt each other. The seemingly solid geometric shapes are punctuated by fractures and misalignments that generate visual tension. The brightly colored insert acts as a breaking point…a minimal yet powerful signal that disrupts the balance and activates the space.
- Canvas already stretched on a wooden frame.
- Ready to hang, the sides are… painted.
- The painting is protected with a final varnish coating.
- Amsterdam colors, high brightness, no fading, non-toxic.
- Each painting contains only high-quality materials.
- The painting is signed on the back.
- A signed certificate of authenticity will be included.
« In black and white I find calm, in color, power. »
Anca Todrican is an abstract artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally, most notably in Paris in 2024 at the Galerie Thuillier. Over the past five years, her works have been acquired by collectors in Germany, France, Hong Kong, and Japan.
In his abstract works, created with a brush and spatula, he prefers acrylic on canvas. Black and white dominate, like contrasts of light and dark, which give dimension and strength to the painting, enriched from time to time by a single surprisingly intense color, luminous and full of energy, which creates defined and contrasting spaces.
