About this artwork
In my painting, I explore the duality of human emotions through abstraction. Oil allows me to mix cool and warm colors, creating shapes that undulate and clash to represent the inner clash between passion and calm. Each brushstroke is a word in the silent dialogue of the soul, and I invite the viewer to feel this tension, this precarious balance where harmony is born. This work will bring a dynamic energy, a focus of deep contemplation to any home.

André Bielen is an award-winning painter and sculptor from Belgium who has exhibited nationally as well as in China, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Morocco, Spain, Japan, Canada and France. His work is also featured in the Republic of China’s Museum of Modern Art. Light, energy and movement are the basis of his compositions, with Bielen’s lyrically abstract style being translated through oils. He prefers to superimpose colors using transparent tones and multiple layers.
