About this artwork

In this oil painting, I explored the melding of urban structures with the organic essence of nature, using geometric forms to create a dream-like cityscape. The juxtaposition of rigid lines with the soft, ethereal greens and blues evokes a sense of harmony amidst chaos. This artwork reflects on the balance between human advancement and the natural world, offering a calming yet thought-provoking presence in any space.

Andranik Shahjanyan was born on September 8, 1990, in Vanadzor, Armenia.
He completed his high school education in Vanadzor, where he also attended an art school specializing in painting and sculpting. He graduated from high school in 2011. That same year, he was accepted into the State University of Armenia in Vanadzor, where he majored in Fine Arts and Painting, earning his Bachelor’s degree.

In 2018, he became a member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia.
In 2022, he moved to the United States, where he continues to create and paint.
