About this artwork

This unique work, created by Andrea Benetti and Dario Binetti, was born from a photograph taken inside the Castellana caves, with the collaboration of a famous Dance Company. Subsequently, with the innovative use of photographic printing with powder jets (polymerized with UV rays), it was printed on a plaster bas-relief, made on a pictorial canvas. The two artists explored the intersection between the real and the unreal, combining human figures… in ancient clothes with a mystical grotesque environment. They created a texture that reflects the fragility of memory and the depth of the subconscious.
