In this engraving I captured the quiet, almost meditative mood of a shared boat trip across a lake in Uganda. The endless water and the quiet, generous hills create a scene of reflection and introspection. The choice of blue tones reinforces the feeling of calm and isolation, while the contrast with the sky symbolizes a hope for space and freedom.
