The NOIR series represents the beauty of raw forms and the elegance of simplicity, which serves as Andrea Reichhart’s creative compass.
The NOIR series is painted on high-quality FABRIANO® paper (370 g/m²), which is characterized by its exceptional black color depth.
The rich black of FABRIANO® paper immediately fascinated me; it makes the colors shine and gives the shapes a special depth.
The mixed media painting technique gives me many opportunities… to combine the delicacy of drawing and powerful brushstrokes with acrylic, chalk and oil pastel.
The works have a common or similar color palette, so you can combine the NOIR series as you wish.
The picture is discreetly signed in gray chalk on the front and in white on the back."
The image is protected with a semi-gloss fixative.
"The balancing act of rough sketches, color, symmetry, and allusion to create something beautiful with a sense of wholeness is, for me, a never-ending love story."
Andrea Reichhart is a freelance jazz singer and abstract painter who prefers to work with acrylic, charcoal, and oil pastels on large-format canvases and exhibits her works throughout Europe and the USA. Her technique is characterized by clean lines, reduced forms, and a minimalist, modern expression – inspired by the dynamism and freshness of jazz. Her creative compass is the beauty of simple, imperfect forms and a playful approach that allows her to be authentic and creative in the moment.
