About this artwork
This painting is part of my “CHROMESIGN” series where the color, poured in a relatively casual way and the artistic sign or gesture meet on the surface in a visual dialogue, the reflections of the gold and silver leaves of the chrome grafts in relief embellish the image obtained suggesting meanings and mental paths of fantasy, curiosity and discovery, leaving free interpretation.
Storage instructions: Avoid humid places and avoid heat sources.… It is recommended do not apply framed and do not apply glass to the artwork, taking into account the possible presence of lateral dripping silver leaves chrome embossed.
He says about himself:
- One of the best pieces of advice that moved me
from the quicksand of canonical learning
It was that of a professor of mine at the Art Institute
who suggested to me:
“You must free yourself from the chains or the cage of patterns, open your mind!” -
Andrea Sasso, an artist with a background in hand-drawn illustration, explores abstract realms using mixed media painting techniques and gold leaf embellishments. His style seamlessly blends abstraction and figuration, satisfying his fascination with the interplay of randomness and calculated design. His work, profoundly influenced by Rome's artistic atmosphere, evokes both intrigue and a sense of spontaneous beauty.
