About this artwork
The "Other Worlds" series consists of macro photographs: scenes composed of toys and small everyday objects. Smurfs, plastic skeletons, and their friends symbolically depict the absurdities of life—situations into which humans sometimes find themselves completely unexpectedly (and defenselessly).

Andreas Bromba, a photographer since the age of 16, uses both analogue techniques and digital processes in his work. He likes to spin his creations in series, sometimes using a minimalist aesthetic, other times with echoes of Yves Klein's striking blue. Andreas Bromba's photos are sharp, but with a certain tenderness, and explore the inscrutability of life, our everyday struggles and the connection between humanity.
