In my work I wanted to capture the intimacy of loneliness. Using ink pen and colored pencil, I created a scene that encourages self-reflection. Inspired by traditional techniques and a contemporary sensibility, it combines figuration and realism with a touch of nostalgia. Andreas Noßmann is a draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally and in the Netherlands. Having always been fascinated by topics that touch or disturb, his artistic practice is also marked by his requirement for "a perfect graphic implementation". Noßmann's distinctive and diverse landscapes, portraits, and still-lifes are created with pastels, graphite, pencils, India ink, chalk, and charcoal on paper, canvas, or cardboard.
