About this artwork
“Grey Seal” is an oil painting with painted edges, ready to hang straight on the wall. The artwork was inspired by a memorable snorkelling experience near Brixham, Devon, UK, where I encountered a curious juvenile grey seal. The young seal showed playful interest, even nibbling at my fins, and I could feel the gentle touch of its whiskers against my legs. This painting captures the magic of a moment as it glides past , and I hope it brings the same… sense of wonder and connection to nature to all who view it.
« Consumed in the moment of creation. With a thousand ideas and never enough time to satisfy my hunger to create. »
