About this artwork
In the Series “Sails of Freedom”, vibrant golden sails cut through the sparkling waves of Nice. Dynamic strokes and shimmering light convey speed, power, and openness. The turquoise water and textured sky create a sense of motion, while the sailboat pulls the viewer toward sunlit horizons and the pulse of the Mediterranean.

Andrii Chebotaru (also - Andrey, Andriy) is a Ukrainian master of painting, specializing in Impressionism and Pointillism. His creative philosophy is best summarized in his statement: "Impression is my passion." Chebotaru is a prominent figure in Ukrainian art, whose unique contributions have significantly enriched the cultural heritage of his country. - Education - Studied in his parents’ fine arts studio (1995–2002) - Graduated from the N. S. Samokysh Art College (2002–2007) - Completed his studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv (2007–2013) - For over 12 years, I studied painting at two of Ukraine's leading art institutions. During my education, I was deeply inspired by the painting techniques of European masters such as Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, and Paul Gauguin. Impressionist art holds a special place in my heart and serves as a constant source of inspiration.
