What kind of future awaits us? We exist alongside high technology, and with each passing year it gains momentum. Soon robots will serve humans, and artificial intelligence will carry out work on their behalf. What will become of people in such a world? Will humanity be able to survive the singularity?
The heroine of the painting leans against her pink retro car and looks into the distance with slight tension. Yet it is already burning behind her… — both literally and metaphorically.
In one hand, she holds a yo-yo like a stylish accessory, symbolising return. On the other, she wears a ring in the form of an eight ball, a symbol of luck, chance, and opportunity when absolutely everything is at stake. The painting also carries a subtle homage to Fallout.
The burning letters in the background emphasise that the future is already on fire and will certainly not be what was predicted just a few years ago.
