About this artwork
The piece is the latest of my work created during the Corona Virus. It represents the mystique of our celestial/astral world via my love of painting lunar surfaces. The singular exhibition of ecstasy speaks to the personal space we have adhered to during these tones of social danger. During the run if the virus, I will include the virus in each piece title; denoting for all of time this point in human existence.

Exciting US painter Andy Hollimon has never taken an art class in his life. It was after military service and a business career, that Hollimon discovered his natural gift for painting. Working mainly with oil paints, Hollimon is a realist painter, but admits to approaching realism with 'on canvas twists'. Such twists include surprising color schemes, moments of abstraction, and perspective shifts. Hollimon's paintings are luminous, mysterious, and joyful. Full of revelations, they invoke delight and invite contemplation.
