About this artwork
With Concerto, I wanted to capture the emotion of a musical moment suspended in time. The piano, a symbol of timeless elegance, here becomes the center of a graphic composition with pop and contemporary accents.
Through clean lines and bright colors, I visually translate the rhythm of a score, the vibrations of a piece, the silent power of an instrument.
This work is a tribute to classical music, but also to harmony, design, and the formal beauty… of the object. It is aimed at lovers of contemporary art, modern decoration, and visual poetry.
Angélique Dufossé, originally from Dordogne, is a contemporary artist who mainly uses acrylic paint and permanent markers on canvas. She skillfully uses the juxtaposition of the figurative and the abstract, in black and white with colorful elements, inspired by pop art to express the duality of life. Capturing timeless emotion, his works invite an ephemeral journey through the bold expression of the beauty and fragility of life.
