About this artwork
In creating this piece, I dove into the realm of abstraction, letting colors and forms flow organically. The acrylic medium allowed me to layer textures, summoning a dreamscape that dances between the tangible and the mysterious. It's an emotional landscape that invites contemplation and introspection, a vibrant yet serene infusion of energy for any space it graces.
« Every day I can become fascinated by the beauty in even the smallest things, inspiring me to express these impressions into all facets of the art of painting and sculpting. »
Anita de Harde is a painter and sculptor based in the Netherlands whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy and China. She cites balance, beauty, nature, abstract landscapes, animals, faces, shadows, and reflections as being the central themes of her works. De Harde's painterly compositions are created with acrylics and spray paint on canvas or wood, whereas her sculptures are cast in bronze using the lost wax method.
