Anitra Berzina is a multimedia artist and painter with an MA from the Latvian Academy of Arts, who also honed her glasswork skills in Murano and Bornholm. She masterfully blends oil paints, charcoal, sand, and ritual ashes, marrying conceptual depth with tactile, expressive surfaces. Her art, marked by explorations of fear’s invisible force and psychic landscape, is at once haunting and introspective. Through these evocative compositions, she powerfully evokes the tension, vulnerability, and resilience born from her personal and historical encounters with fear.
