About this artwork
In this painting, I've combined oils and acrylics to delve into the realm of metaphysics and surrealism. Embodied within vintage hues and a semi-abstract form, you'll find a tangible curiosity that beckons the observer into a dance of introspection. It's a whisper of the ephemeral nature of discovery, inviting you to embrace the unknown within your space, stirring the soul with wonder.
« My paintings have a strong autobiographical component. I like to portray experiences and feelings with delicate brushstrokes and calm colors. »
Anja Spagl is an artist based in France who has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in Germany. Being a proud vegetarian and animal lover, she often portrays animals and explores the human-animal relation in her compositions. Occasionally, Spagl's pieces also contain subtle critiques towards today's society. She paints using acrylics and oils on canvas. Originally a way of escaping reality, art is now her full-time occupation.
