About this artwork
This piece is a special study and retake on wilton cigarette ads from 1940's, 1950's and 1960's; and how celebrities like Angela Lansbury was providing celebrity endorsement. This is ironic and would be regarded a taboo. In my artwork, I used the lively, vibrant energy of acrylic and the bold touches of oil pastel to evoke a fusion of cultures under a symbolic umbrella. views while celebrating individuality and defiance against norms. The semi-abstract style enlivens each element, making it a striking piece that adds dynamic energy and a splash of rebellion to any space.
