In creating this piece, I embraced the fusion of fine art with a touch of whimsy, mirroring life's own blend of serenity and playful moments. The use of acrylic, pastel, and enamel allowed me to give depth and texture, capturing the calmness of the sea juxtaposed with the playful sheep, exuding a sense of joy and peace. Ann Gadd, an award-winning South African painter, has exhibited nationally and in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Italy. Usually painting in series, Gadd’s unique blend of naive and pop is translated through acrylics on canvas. Her ADD means she switches from series according to mood.
