About this artwork

The idea of this painting came after reading science fiction stories by Ray Bradbury.
His novels about the social distance and isolation, about a technologically advanced world in which people meet less and less with each other live, as if they are becoming prophetic ...
All this became an inspiration for the painting "Gentle Silence" - people are increasingly moving away from each other, forgetting live communication, exchanging only business information,… or vice versa, discussing silly gossip .. forgetting how important it is to be near someone who is close, who really understands, with whom you can just keep quiet about everything ... But yet, as before, they need love, intimacy, feelings, understanding.
The painting is painted in warm colors, which gives it the character of calmness and tranquility.
