About this artwork
My abstract works never originate from a concrete vision. Instead, I develop the concept of the painting as I paint it.
Complexity and attention to detail are key elements. There's something to discover everywhere you look. For example, it's essential to also design the edges. This gives the image an additional dimension and thus depth. Framing is therefore unnecessary.

Anna Möri is a young artist from Switzerland who primarily works in an abstract fashion with acrylic paint, paper and cardboard. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in mechanical engineering and plans on graduating in summer 2026.
Depth and layering are especially important to her. That's why she always paints the sides of her artworks: it adds a third dimension and makes for a nice finish without having to frame the piece.
Naming her artworks always felt somewhat artificial to her. Instead she chose to title them with a specific number.
