About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the tension between past and future. The vibrant colors and textures symbolize constant change and the pursuit of progress. The collage technique creates different layers that delve deeply into emotions while simultaneously radiating a dynamic energy – a powerful glimpse into a world that is constantly reinventing itself.
For me, colors are the music of sight and balm for the soul. My works develop from the interplay of radiant, often quite vibrant colors. Through experimentation with different colors and techniques, I create abstract, modern paintings that are meant to draw the viewer into their own world and fill the space with joy, values, and energy. The diversity of life, travels to foreign cultures, and the colors of nature provide me with inspiration. Each painting evolves continuously during the painting process. Art is formless; every painting stands on its own and has its own unique character. Painting has fascinated me for over 40 years. At the Scula di pittura Amiart in Lugano, as well as in other studios in Tuscany and Paris, I gained insight into various painting techniques. Today, I cultivate my own style and work with different materials and tools.
