About this artwork
It's still summer, the watermelons are ripe and delicious, and I enjoy eating them during breaks from painting. They're as beautiful as the sunset, so I placed one in the sky behind my studio window. July was rainy, so I spent a lot of time working on my paintings. I was accompanied by a fragrant geranium that sits on my windowsill. I painted it, and now you can see it, too.

Anna Rona lives in Germany but was born and raised in Poland.
