About this artwork
On this canvas, I first started with a spontaneous and more random than usual dynamic line, with metallic blue, which I then began to dress with raw bright colors, mainly primary then secondary, which I mixed directly on the canvas or superimposed, playing with the different spaces created by the line.
I let myself be guided by a search for balance and visual harmony by playing with the different directions of the canvas, mixing and revealing new… figures and atmospheres within which numerous scenes come to life.
Thanks to my gestures as an Industrial Designer, I have gotten into the habit of rotating the canvas to make it easier to draw certain shapes and to establish an ergonomic reading of my canvases which are mostly read in the 4 directions of the canvas, forming 4 universes on the same support.
The dynamics of the painting are based on its main path, hence the title 'Follow the path'.
