About this artwork
I rarely used black in my work until I discovered I could color it. This canvas is one of my first with black: I was surprised to see that the shapes seemed to float and didn't have the heaviness I had feared. The square of shapes came to me naturally: these boxes that contain absolutely nothing and flutter in the stratosphere... They will give a vintage touch to your surroundings.
