happiness that the internet offers us, or be misled by fake news. We will have to redefine truth and lies and filter our opinion from the daily flow of information. Only with a clear view can we determine how we want to deal with ourselves and the world.

Annemarie Petri is an award-winning Dutch painter, printmaker, and sculptor whose works have been extensively exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, and China. Her sources of inspiration are diverse and include 17th century engravings in the spirit of Piranesi, the natural sciences, literature, and, predominantly, the romantic desire to create an imaginary world of her own. Petri believes that art is predominantly about life and death, rising above the individual.
