The destruction of a tailor's dummy
Can I destroy the dressmaker's dummy?
Because it's tailored so tightly to my body?
Because it takes my breath away?
Through them, my appearance is indelibly reproduced.
The waist of youth,
the firm breasts,
the apple butt.
Little by little, over the years, I no longer fit in there and feel cramped.
Therefore, like a tender plant in spring, I must break through this shell,
to free myself.
It… is not just changes in my external appearance,
There will also be changes in me!

Today, this power flows into her current series Sfumato – Returning to the Essence.
Finely graded layers of self-mixed pigments, light and silence dissolve the boundaries between figure and space, as before.
What was once loud and gestural now becomes quiet and poetic. Forms emerge, disappear, and become traces of an inner movement.
Her works tell of remembering, of letting go – and of returning to one’s own essence.
