About this artwork
The artwork depicts the soft colors of spring. The delicate green blends with the warm, luminous orange, evoking the warmth of springtime. The technique is mixed media, using acrylics, charcoal, pastels, and collage.
The painting was created on a bright winter day. I was longing for spring colors and, while leafing through a magazine, came across the print "primavera pastello." That was the deciding factor for the painting. I imagined a wall where… the first green tendrils were winding their way up the gray of the house wall. Here and there a bud was opening.
