About this artwork
In my artwork I use acrylic and varnish to create an abstract and surreal world that explores the unconscious and dreams. The dynamic shapes and bold color contrasts create a lively tension and invite the viewer to discover their own interpretations and emotional responses. This painting symbolizes the complexity of human experience and the search for personal meaning in a seemingly chaotic universe.
Annette Streib-Ebert, an established artist, uses a variety of media, including drawing, collage, monotype, and mixed media acrylics. Her techniques are spontaneous and unplanned, intuitively applying lines, surfaces, and colors until human motifs often emerge in the painting process. Her dynamic works explore the complexity of human existence, question our identity and life story, and serve as emotional mirrors for the viewer.
