About this artwork
The beauty of Africa has inspired a good part of my work, the symbols of their beliefs such as the statuettes. I went to Tanzania where I was able to get close to the Big Five: the large animals – lions, hippos, giraffes, wildebeest, gazelles, birds, etc. – a wonder etched in my memory.
