In the soft evening sunlight, a little girl walks barefoot through the tall grass. She holds tightly onto strings attached to colorful balloons – red, blue, green, and yellow. They dance in the wind, as if trying to lift her from the ground and carry her to a place beyond time and space.
Suddenly, one string slips free – a single yellow balloon gently floats up into the sky, slowly, as if it knows it won’t return. The girl stops, watching it drift… away, and a quiet sadness fills her eyes. But she clutches the remaining strings, as if she understands that even when something is lost, much still remains to love.
From a leaf in the tall grass, a dragonfly watches her curiously, a silent witness to the magic of the moment. And in that instant, there is both the joy of childhood and the first feeling that something can be lost.
