About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the raw power of the mountains – their majestic presence and the quiet grandeur they exude. I wanted to make the interplay of light and shadow, movement and stillness visible in abstract form, as a symbol of inner strength and balance. This painting brings an energetic yet calming atmosphere to any room in which it hangs and invites contemplation.
Lines are engraved into the metal and then ground to the correct light… using a flexible disc.
The grinding patterns depend on the incidence of light.
