About this artwork

This artwork unfolds in three visual stages, revealing different emotional layers through light.
In the first stage, under normal lighting, Mickey and Minnie appear expressive and playful, painted with bold strokes and vibrant colors. This phase represents joy, innocence, and the recognizable warmth of childhood memories.
In the second stage, under ultraviolet light, hidden colors and lines emerge. The figures transform, gaining intensity and movement.… This stage symbolizes the inner world — imagination, emotion, and the way memories evolve beneath the surface.
In the third stage, visible only in complete darkness, Mickey and Minnie reappear dancing together. Reduced to glowing lines, their movement becomes lighter and more poetic. This final transformation represents pure connection, freedom, and love beyond form — a moment where time, color, and detail disappear, leaving only motion and emotion.
