This artwork is a vibrant tribute to Thessaloniki, combining the city’s iconic landmarks with Antoni Dragan’s signature Progressive Multipaint technique. In daylight, the scene celebrates the White Tower and the movement of everyday life with expressive strokes, bright splashes of colour, and dynamic drippings.
Under UV light, a hidden dimension emerges: the spirit of Alexander the Great reveals itself across the White Tower, while the Vergina Sun… appears on the opposite side symbols of the city’s ancient heritage layered beneath its modern pulse.
In complete darkness, the painting transforms once more. The portrait of Alexander glows through the night, standing as a luminous guardian of Macedonia’s legacy.
