I created this terracotta sculpture patinated with gold and silver pigments to capture the grace and strength of a ballerina, combining elegance and determination in a single figure. Her proud posture conveys passion and resilience, an energy that will bring a sense of inspiration and vitality to any space, celebrating the beauty of movement and the pursuit of perfection.
Antonino Nicolini, born in Palermo in 1972, is a painter and sculptor who studied art at high school and in his family's terracotta sculpture workshop. His work, firmly self-taught, ranges from oil on canvas to precious materials such as pure gold. His works combine Mannerist elegance, Impressionist influences, and influences from contemporary comics, creating a style he likes to call "stellar-faith." Through his work, he conveys profound visions, faith, and a heartfelt desire for peace, seeking to proclaim to the world a message of humanity and hope in the face of the suffering of our time. He has many exhibitions and awards, most notably he was awarded the Golden Lion of Venice in 2025 with the work (the Universal Eucharist). On May 29th he will be present at the exhibition at the Maxxy museum in Rome. His way of making art is very scenographic, sentimental, scientific and full of spirituality.
